چکیده

The uncertain nature of the demand for university parking has now created a major problem for university planners. From a facilities planning perspective, it is important to comprehend the probabilistic nature of the demand for parking and parking rules violations. Given this background, in our note, we shed light on two insufficiently studied issues concerning university parking. First, we focus on shortterm and long-term parkers. We determine the mean parking time of an arriving car and then we compute the probability distribution function of the number of occupied parking spots at any particular time. Second, we concentrate on parking rules violators and we calculate the probability distribution function of the number of violators who are fined at an inspection. Provide the Necessary Strategies for Launching Intelligent Camera-based Parking

One of the most important and significant issues in urban transportation is the issue of mobile car parking in the city. The need to pay attention to this has led to the introduction of several strategies in recent decades to organize and manage the condition of car parks in urban areas. Meanwhile, attention to modern technologies and their role and position in the management of these spaces is...

Discrimination of Power Quality Distorted Signals Based on Time-frequency Analysis and Probabilistic Neural Network

Recognition and classification of Power Quality Distorted Signals (PQDSs) in power systems is an essential duty. One of the noteworthy issues in Power Quality Analysis (PQA) is identification of distorted signals using an efficient scheme. This paper recommends a Time–Frequency Analysis (TFA), for extracting features, so-called "hybrid approach", using incorporation of Multi Resolution Analysis...
